Is HEVN a bank?

No. HEVN is not a bank. HEVN is a B2B financial platform that works with licensed banks and EMIs across multiple jurisdictions. Through these partners, we provide named virtual bank accounts and cross-border payments.

Where are my funds held, and what happens if HEVN goes out of business?

Accepted Answer

Your funds are held non-custodially in USDC on Base in a wallet provisioned through Privy, a Stripe-owned infrastructure provider. Neither HEVN nor any partner can access, freeze, or move your funds. Only you can. If HEVN goes offline, your USDC balance remains accessible through Privy's recovery flow. Fiat held temporarily in a banking partner's safeguarded account is protected under that partner's regulated safeguarding rules.

Which jurisdictions and rails do you support?

We support: US: ACH, Wire, and SWIFT UAE: local AED transfers EU: SEPA UK: GBP payments LATAM: local rails in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico By default, we open named virtual bank accounts under your company's name. We also support pooled accounts for faster onboarding. With a pooled account, the IBAN is held in our banking partner's name rather than your company's name.

What restrictions apply to a HEVN account?

HEVN accounts are designed for your company's own legitimate business activity. You cannot use them to: Conduct regulated financial activity without the required licenses Process or pass through funds on behalf of third parties Hold or manage customer deposits Engage in any Prohibited Activities listed in our Terms of Use Transact with sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals Conduct any activity prohibited by our banking and EMI partners or applicable law Incoming payments can only be received from legal entities. Outgoing payments can be sent to legal entities and individuals when the payment relates to your company's legitimate business activity, such as supplier, contractor, or payroll payments.

How long does onboarding take and what documents do I need?

Onboarding typically takes 7 to 10 business days after we receive the complete document package. What is the difference between a virtual bank account and a correspondent bank account?

Correspondent bank account An account opened directly with a bank. Your company has a direct business relationship with the bank and receives bank-issued account statements. Virtual bank account Personal account details assigned to your company by an EMI partner. Incoming transfers are routed to the EMI partner's master account and credited to your HEVN balance, usually in USDC. You do not have a direct relationship with the bank or receive bank-issued statements. Externally, however, the account details look and work like a standard business account for incoming payments.

Do you support crypto? Which chains and stablecoins?

Yes. Our primary settlement asset is USDC on Base. We accept deposits and withdrawals in USDC, USDT, and other tokens across 20+ chains, including: Ethereum Solana Base Arbitrum Polygon Tron TON Crypto deposits and withdrawals have a 0% fee on all plans.

Yes. You can onboard as many companies as you need. Each company requires a separate corporate email for KYB purposes. You can link multiple companies to one operator account and switch between them with a single click.
