APAC companies often collect revenue in USD or EUR while paying suppliers and contractors in local currencies. This guide covers the available rails, account setup, onboarding documents, and stablecoin considerations across key markets in the region.
International payment routes for APAC companies
An approved APAC company can use HEVN to collect USD or EUR, pay overseas suppliers, and access supported local currencies. Invoices, transaction records, and supporting documents stay together for reconciliation and review.
For most customer and supplier payments, fiat transfers provide the clearest transaction record. Depending on the company and corridor, supported rails include SWIFT, SEPA, NPP, BECS, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and local bank transfers.
Supported payment rails
USD is available through SWIFT. Local rails vary by country. A rail offered for both pay-in and payout uses account details in the company's name. Payout-only rails use a pooled account in the provider's name.
| Currency | Direction | Corridor | USD vs Spread | Payment Fee | Sender account |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| USD | Pay-in | SWIFT (Global) | - | $25 | Account under your company name |
| USD | Payout | SWIFT (Global) | - | $25 | Account under your company name |
| AUD | Pay-in | NPP / BECS | 0.5% | 0.5% | Account under your company name |
| AUD | Payout | NPP / BECS | 0.5% | 0.5% | Account under your company name |
| CNY | Payout | WeChat Pay | 0.45% | ¥31 + 0.36% | Account under the provider's name (pooled) |
| CNY | Payout | Alipay | 0.45% | ¥45 + 0.44% | Account under the provider's name (pooled) |
| HKD | Payout | Local wire | 0.50% | HK$25 | Account under the provider's name (pooled) |
| PHP | Pay-in | QR PH | 0.30% | ₱10 | Account under your company name |
| PHP | Payout | InstaPay | 0.30% | ₱10 | Account under the provider's name (pooled) |
| PHP | Payout | PESONet | 0.30% | ₱5 | Account under the provider's name (pooled) |
Documents to prepare
Onboarding documents depend on the country of incorporation. Examples include:
- Australia: ASIC Certificate of Registration, current company extract, ABN record, proof of address dated within the past 90 days, and a board resolution or Power of Attorney
- Mainland China: Articles of Association (公司章程), National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System extract, Business Licence (营业执照), State Taxation Administration record, recent proof of address, and a board resolution bearing the company seal
- Hong Kong: Certificate of Incorporation, Business Registration Certificate, recent proof of address, and a Board Resolution or Power of Attorney
HEVN may also request identity documents for directors and beneficial owners, an ownership chart, contracts and invoices, expected counterparties, and evidence of source of funds.
Stablecoins and regulation across APAC
APAC does not have one regional stablecoin framework. Hong Kong's licensing regime for fiat-referenced stablecoin issuers took effect on August 1, 2025. Mainland China takes a different approach: the People's Bank of China Notice No. 237 of 2021 states that virtual currencies do not have the same legal status as fiat currency and treats related business activities as illegal financial activities.
Australia regulates virtual-asset service providers through its AML/CTF framework. Stablecoin access therefore depends on the company's jurisdiction, the provider, the token, and the payment corridor. For ordinary customer and supplier payments, fiat transfers are usually simpler and create a clearer accounting trail.
Benefits of a Fiat Account for an APAC company
- Receive payments from US customers through ACH or domestic wire.
- Use account details in your company's name to match incoming payments with customers and invoices.
- Keep USD to pay suppliers, contractors, software vendors, and other international operating costs.
- Move funds between local accounts and the Fiat Account when the business needs another currency or payment rail.
- Keep invoices, payment records, confirmations, exports, roles, and approvals in one workspace.
We'll confirm available accounts, payment rails, limits, pricing, and expected account-opening time during onboarding.
